Hot Cocoa for Two

We can not shake the chill in this house! So while Van snacks on some raw cashews with dad under a cozy crocheted blanket I went into the kitchen to surprise them with a hot beverage! I was able to squeeze out enough for the three of us but this recipe will make about 2 1/2 cups of cocoa to split nicely for two.

In a medium sauce pan simmer on low
1/4 Cup of Baking Chocolate Powder
1/4 Cup of Sugar
1/4 Cup of Water
1/8 Teaspoon of Salt

Once you've stirred the lumps out in just about 3 minutes; add 2 cups of milk and 1/4 Teaspoon of Vanilla.

Let this simmer for about 5 minutes before pouring into your mug.
You should have enough space for a marshmallow! Enjoy!
